    Not one day I can go without.
    It’s like the breath in my lungs,
    Or the food that graces my tongue;

    Black as the abyss is its countenance;
    Until it swirls like the Milky Way;
    Not one day I can go without!

    Nope! Not on my life!

    Tis’ the fuel that drives me;
    The aroma that guides me;
    To that warming mug I hold so dear!

    Not a day I can go without,
    Lest my mind and soul slowly fade;
    Not one day can I go without my coffee!

    Nope, indeed!
